Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, several precautions are put in place all through your pregnancy.
As these norms imposed by the government vary over time, please verify with your doctor what precautions are in effect at the clinic.
You may or may not be accompanied at your first appointment depending on the state of the pandemic. Moreover, if you speak neither French nor English, an interpreter may accompany you at each appointment.
You may also come to your post-partum follow-up with your newborn.
Concerning the preventive measures at Hôpital de la Cité-de-la-Santé, please check with your doctor what measures are currently in place.
Please note that during your delivery you may remove your mask if your COVID-19 screening is negative. You will also have access to the bath in spite of the pandemic. However, there is no in-person prenatal classes at the CLSC.
